Hawaiian Airlines Flight Privileges

Are you a new Hawaiian Airlines employee, or just need to brush up on the ins and outs of using your employee privileges? You’ve come to the right place and we’re here to help!

How to access your Hawaiian Airlines Employee Travel Portal

Using either the id90travel.com website or the ID90 Travel Mobile App (available for iOS and Android), choose Hawaiian Airlines as your Company and enter your ID90 Travel username and password.

Note: Your ID90 Travel username and password may be different from the credentials you use to log in to other Hawaiian Airlines systems.

What is a Friendship Travel pass?

The Hawaiian Airlines Friendship Travel Pass (FTP) program grants you a specific number of discounted standby passes which you can give to any friend or family member to use.

You’ll be granted 20 FTP’s every year that are valid for travel from January 1st until December 31st. An FTP booked before December 31st for travel after January 1st cannot be modified. Each FTP pass is good for a one way journey.

FTP passes are priced per market: interisland, mainland flights, and international.

What is the Hawaiian Airlines Inner Circle program?

The Inner Circle program allows you to preload friends and family into your ID90 Travel account so you can easily distribute FTP’s to your favorites. Plus, Inner Circle passes are less expensive!

Each year you can designate Inner Circle users (HA recommends no more than 8). You can add new friends, or keep the oldies but goodies, by speaking to your HR Department and submitting the IC paper work.

If you’ve activated your account and cannot remember your login information, tap the Forgot Password option. If all else fails, contact our friendly ID90 Travel Customer Support Team. Make sure to leave a message if you decide to call (rather than email), so they can get back to you if call volumes are unusually high.

How do I check flight loads in real time and use the Watchlist?

Click View under Flight Loads to see the available/ authorized capacity.

Available = Number of open seats

Authorized Capacity = Total number of seats in cabin available for sale

When can I start sharing and booking my FTP’s?

You are able to share and book your FTP’s from day one!

How do I handle FTP refunds and itinerary changes?

Refunds: Yay, they exist!
If an FTP goes unused, simply simply get your PNR from your 'Upcoming Trips' and click 'Cancel/Refund'. You will receive every bit of what you spent back in return. That includes the FTP itself, fares, taxes, and the ID90 Travel processing fee.

Itinerary Changes: This gets a bit more nitty-gritty.
If you’re looking to simply change the flight time and date, you can do so on the app by going to your 'Upcoming Trips'. Your pass will remain untouched. Just remember that if the first flight in your itinerary has already departed, modifications are not possible..

Now, if you’re looking to completely change the route, you’ll need to cancel your itinerary or segment and rebook it for another route.

Confused, or need help? Contact the friendly ID90 Travel Customer Support team (make sure to leave a message if you call).

Let’s talk Friendship Travel Pass dress code and travel behavior

What are some Friendship Travel Pass & Inner Circle program tricks & tips?

Need a little help? We got you! After all, we here at ID90 Travel are the non-revvers best friend. First things first, the #NonRevLife can be an exciting way to live, but it’s important to remember to stay flexible, positive, and to always know your options.

  1. Give yourself plenty of time, you’ll have to make enough last-minute decisions the way it is, so don’t add to that stress. List for the earliest flight so that if you don’t get on you’ll still have options.

  2. Look for unique, underused routes to get to where you’re going! Sometimes, you may even have to go backwards or in the opposite direction of where you want to go.

  3. Never check a bag! If you have to change flights last minute, or if you’re flying by the seat of your pants, there’s no time to waste (and you don’t want to end up bagless or without your toothbrush).

  4. Invest in ID90 Travel Trip insurance. We’re not just saying this to make a buck. It really is a lifesaver! The insurance covers hospitality in case travelers must stay where they are for the night. It will not refund the money spent on the flight, but at least you’ve got a place to lay your head. Please, check our travel insurance policies for more details.

  5. List early for long-haul departures from KOA: This one’s from your friends at Hawaiian. “To ensure accurate provisioning of our aircraft, Pass Travelers are urged to flight-list at least 36 hours prior to long-haul departures from KOA (12 hours prior from other gateways), and cancel any flight listing if travel plans change. A precise meal count helps us avoid costs of last minute changes to catering orders. If you aren't able to plan your travel within these guidelines, please consider bringing your own food onboard.”

Traveling with Kids:
Per Hawaiian Airlines, “Please remember to use the Voluntary Downgrade option for children under 12 (using your Pass Travel privileges) who do not qualify for your boarding priority (i.e. your child(ren) traveling with an adult FTP). This functionality will ensure that ‘keiki’ aren’t separated from their adult travel companions. For more information, visit HA People.”
