Looking Back on 2020
This year has been far from what anyone would have expected but the resiliency of the travel industry has been amazing to see.
Airline employees have always been important; this year you became "essential." You pressed through a global pandemic by getting other essential workers to their destinations and moving much-needed cargo and are now a critical part of the most essential role of all — the distribution of life-saving vaccines. During all this, you helped people maintain somewhat of a normal life by getting them to their favorite leisure destinations and to visit family and friends. Despite all the challenges of this year, your burning desire to travel has not diminished. Here's a look at how you traveled this year, and how you are moving forward with future travel plans.
As we put this year behind us, let us all look forward to all the promise that 2021 holds, especially for our industry's recovery.
