How I loved my 2 weeks of sailing on the Transcend Advance! This was my 14th river cruise and I can wholeheartedly say the Advance is 6 stars! The ship itself is luxurious - I enjoyed the spaciousness of my suite, the walkin closet, the marble bathroom, and the elegant decor throughout the ship. And I can’t say enough about the staff - they sparkled! I felt so welcome onboard. Everyone always addressed me by name, and my food and beverage preferences were always remembered. I was sorry to see my cruise come to an end, but I will be back…..I’ve booked a Christmas Market cruise on the Advance!

Ship Description: MV Advance was constructed in 2017 and relaunched in 2023, this five-star river ship is the most luxurious ship on the river. With only 55 staterooms and suites, she’s the perfect floating boutique hotel experience.
Stateroom Accommodations: (inc. all w/ infinity balconies, king beds, en-suite bathrooms and seating areas)
Dining Venues: The Bistro & The Table (Deck 3), The Pantry and The Restaurant (Deck 2)
Public Areas (Lounges/Bars, Spa, Fitness, Etc): The Pop-up Bar and canopied seating area (Deck 4), The Skylight Lounge, Resistance Pool (Deck 3), Fitness Center (Deck 1)

Day 5 - Dordrecht, Netherlands
Keukenhof Gardens are only open for 2 months a the year. But in that 2 months, 1.5 million visitors will marvel at the tulips and other spring flowers. Entry is 20euro and parking is 8euro. You will get to see it all in about 3-4 hours, if you are not stopping and taking a million photos, like me! 😊
On your drive out to the gardens, you will pass fields and fields of tulips. These tulips will never be cut and sold, they are left to die so that the nutrients go back into the bulbs, which will eventually be sold.
Day 7 - Rotterdam, Netherlands

All crew and servers do what ever they can to please you…with a smile! Extremely well trained. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were hungry by 3pm when we got on the boat. They made us a veggie burger, even though it was not on the menu.
The dinners are all very tasty but the portions are small. For us, this is perfect as we order extra plates so we get to try additional dishes.

Floating homes. 2 stories above water, and 1 level below water.
We were welcomed by 6 of the crew members who took the luggage out of our hands and replaced it with a cocktail. We were off to a fabulous start!
The ship looks brand new and is absolutely stunning. 5 Star all the way! From the marble bathroom walls to the fixtures and furnishings; they spared no expense. And the bottle of wine and Transcend Cruises caps were a nice touch.
Lovely concierge Alina and restaurant manager Antonio. Antonio showed us around the ship and told us there were 57 crew and only 110 guests. Only 2 cabins with adjoining doors (and we're in one of them).
