Account Management Team Travels

Sales & Account Management attended 3 key customer and prospect events in September.  Sun Country hosted their annual Plane Pull to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation.  ID90 Travel sponsored the event and even helped pull a plane!  The event had several hundred employees attend and visit our table.  Lulu, Ross, Evan and Jim attended the annual Pass Bureau Association (PBA) meeting with over 50 airlines.  We finished the month with a booth at the largest annual event, World Aviation Festival (WAF).  The event was in Lisbon with over 3,000 attendees from all over the world.  We received numerous sales leads from the PBA and WAF events and look forward to providing demos and follow-ups with each one.

Employee Spotlight

This month’s Employee Spotlight is Santiago Bermudez. Santiago is one of our Customer Service Agents, that started in June of this year!

Let’s learn more about him!

1.      What is your favorite part of working at our company?

I like the fact that there seems to be a well-balanced relationship and relevance between the independent decisions customer service specialists have regarding what they need to do and the collaborative dynamic these specialists have with their coworkers.

2.   How did you get started in the industry?

I could say that my first steps in the industry began when I decided to study Modern Languages in college. Growing up on an island in Venezuela, which back at the beginning of the 2010´s was one of the most popular tourism destinations in the Caribbean, meant that getting a degree in Languages would probably have you end up working in tourism or customer service. So, from day one, I decided not only to learn the languages that I was supposed to but also understand how to properly communicate with people while providing a service or selling a product.

3.      What do you like most about the work we do here?

Though I´ve been very recently introduced to the company´s team and work dynamic, I do like the way you support every single member while giving each other assistance when needed through the Slack platform. This is something that I see not only supervisors and trainers do, but also customer service specialists.

4.      What's one thing people don't know about you that they would be surprised to find out?

I'm probably the only 90's kid that didn't watch Dragon Ball Z.

Internal Links - Recommended Activities in Dallas, BA & Cordoba

Evan started a confluence page to collect restaurants, cultural centers, and other points of interest for Dallas, BA, and Cordoba. Please add your favorite places so when anyone travels from one office to the other (or stops off in BA) they can have recommendations of things to do on their free time. Feel free to edit the page as needed as well if you think something else will be helpful to collect more information!
